“Art is Worship.”– Iyara Norah Karabo
Iyara Norah Karabo was born in 2001 as the youngest of 12 siblings.
She was also raised in an extended family, with many cousins all of which
she considers sibilings. She is also close to her aunties, uncles, nephews,
neices, cousins’ cousins and grandmother. Her earliest memories of art
involve her mother teaching her to colour and her father telling her to draw
the radio, TV and other household appliances.
She has lives and had an education in the suburbs of Kampla, Uganda.
Throughout school, many knew her for drawing in all her class books and
any other thing she could lay her hands on. She was also a very good literature
student, excelling in poems, drama and fictional narratives.

In 2020, Iyara descided to be an artist. She started practicing art professionally
in 2024 after school, although she excelled in business at University.
Currently she uses art to advocate for positive social change, build relationships
and share about her relationship with God.
